Headquartered in Hamamatsu, Japan, Enshu has provided world-class technology for well over 100 years with a global presence throughout North America, Europe and Asia. Enshu machines are known for their legendary build quality, which unlocks new levels of productivity that can alter the future of the shops who use them.

Sakamoto Enshu Koki was established in 1920 as a weaving machine manufacturer. The production of machine tool technology did not begin until the 1930s when we built milling machines and special purpose machinery.

It was in the 1960’s that Enshu experienced exponential growth with the emergence of the Japanese motorcycle industry and the development of CNC, earning Enshu the business of neighboring motorcycle manufacturers Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha—relationships that continue to this day.

As the years progressed, we’ve established an excellent reputation in the engineering and design of machines as well as the parts they produce. This unique position has given us an intimate understanding of the rigors of competitive machining.
